When I arrived, I went to the little shack where you purchase your pick option. I put the address in my gps, and it was fairly easy to locate. It was amazing to see all the rows of trees, even the apples I am accustomed to purchasing in the grocery store. I am from the south, and have never even seen an apple orchard in person. I just wanted the experience of seeing apples grow in person. I did not want more apples, They would be so damaged trying to get them home. This will definitely be an adverse issue, as many people as me would go in a spend money in gift shops. They wont even let you on farm if you are not paying to pick apples. I visited this one first, and attempted to see another one in town so I can see the difference. I made a list of a couple of them with the most star rating. I searched apple orchards this morning and found a few on trip advisor with good reviews. We are in town for the week for my spouse' work related trip.

These are COVID times so I recognize it is difficult to meet all these new requirements so just take these as pointers to fine tune your operation that already has good products. One other was great that Honey Pot had sinks outside to be able to wash your hands but the soap dispenser was empty. So good overall fruit and products to buy but the organization of the operation and labeling of fruit could use fine tuning. This would be really helpful because the apple picking bag references the types and certain apples are better than others for baking. We got on a hayride to the fields but not sure if the driver let us off in the right spot.there were plenty of apples and pears but nothing was labeled so you didn't know what type of apples you were picking. I didn't see where to pick that up upon arrival so went into the store and they did not know either until one employee asked someone else and said that you only need that on weekends (we went on a weekday). The reservation confirmation said that we needed to pick up bands. An improvement that I wanted to comment on relates to organization. The apple cider donuts were amazing and the store had some delicious looking peaches and other goodies to choose from too. There were plenty of apples and also pears to choose from. We had to make an advance reservation given the current COVID restrictions which makes good sense. We enjoyed a morning of apple picking at Honey Pot.
